What have you done to your car today?

Also found a little bit of play in the left hand side diff output flange JC Racing said this is the early signs of wear so while its out it will be serviced.
 
Lynchy popped over yesterday to pick up some bits from my car I’m breaking and kindly offered to give my headlights a bit of attention and also touched up a few marks on my wheels to make less noticeable. Absolute legend

I keep looking at my cracked rear brake light. Into my 4th year of ownership later this month and I've still not replaced it as I keep reading stories like yours...

Are you buying OEM ones or cheaper ones from China from ebay?
 
Took off my cheap carbon wrap and replaced wit a cheap faux leather one.😁

Are the panels easy enough to come off? I've been pondering wrapping them in something. Maybe a trip to fife this summer to a seasoned dash wrapper would be an easier option 😜

Nice dry roads today so took her out for a warm through on the local roads, then tucked her up again.
 
Washed it. Took it to cars and coffee. Then put the roof down and took a very long way home. :wink:

Nothing exciting, but picked up a space saver wheel for £50 today and gave it a splodge of plastikote paint . Now drying in the garage. Also recently did an oil change and CDV removal. Getting stuff done for the NC500 in June , can't wait :driving:
 
Had a drive in the sunshine on Saturday. Visited some road I used to drive near Gaydon, Warwickshire.

Popped into the Gaydon heritage Museum where there was a Jaguar Owners Breakfast club meet (a few interesting Jags on display for them!),

Then had the alignment done at Southam Tyres following the fitting of Eibach lowering springs and spacers.

Composure of the car is so much better now, mainly due to the toe being a little bit off before!

How do you like the clutch delay delete ? I just got my second ride after deleting the valve and I must say....... I wish I should have done this first :thumbsup:

Not sure how different the E89 is to the E86 , other than you having a plastic one, but yes, definitely worth doing it. The current wife doesnt kangaroo down the road anymore, which actually put her off driving the car. also because you arent pressing hard on the pedal, makes it lighter and put less strain on the master cylinder seals. Can't see or feel a downside to it. :thumbsup:
 
Took it out after remapping it back to stage 0, to see if everything ok. Ordered FMIC and charge pipe.
Sometimes, there's a point where roof down is just not a comfortable option... check out the temperature guage :heat:

Yep I wouldn't put the roof down in those temperatures either. I have tried it during last summer here and it wasn't nice!
 
Fitted a new expansion tank after my old one developed a leak and spewed coolant all over the drive. It’s taken me long enough to get around to it and the job isn’t finished yet as I still want to do a flush then refill with fresh coolant, which I haven’t bought yet. I did the job from the top thus avoiding jacking the car and removing the undertray. Made sure to replace all the o-rings on the pipe connections as I really don’t want to be taking all this apart again too soon.
