I bought the carbon fibre version last year and it actually looks decent for the price. 👍
 
Undertray repair and wheels off for the first proper clean and wax in four (!) years. Amazing how well they’ve held up - OEM CSL finish plus three layers of Poorboys wheel sealant.

Scuse the carpets. :D

Replaced the bonnet release cables on the Zed after one half of the old one snapped. Also took the other halfs engine bay apart to replace a coolant flange, its a lot more 'compact' working in a fiesta engine bay!
 
I took the Z4 to a cars and coffee meet. Met some nice people saw some great cars including this 2001 Z8 with black and red interior

Very jealous of your lovely clean wheels. :thumbsup: If I hadn't spent so much on boring stuff this month I was going to get mine refurbed...

Advertised my Z4 Coupe on Gumtree..
Had her serviced on Friday and after months of deliberating: decided to offer her for sale.
Just not getting the use ( only 2.5K last year).

Not yet - Though will give that some thought.
It is only on Gumtree at the moment....
To be honest: I was put-off by some of the responses to a similar, higher mileage car seen on eBay?

Well it's your choice of course.
Just seems to me that, if you've ever had any help from this forum, then it would seem a nice gesture to let the members maybe have first look at it?
However, I know exactly what you mean. There will always be people who only view it to find fault, but sift through those and you'll surely find a good, caring home for it.

Ha ha - not sure. This Texan owner was quite knowledgeable. His son is a BMW tech and he definitely knew what he had. Boy it was pretty... I googled and found a few for sale in the USA - but the price :o
Now back on topic
Yesterday I received a leather knee pad for the E89. Beautiful black leather (?) just the right size and price from eBay... shipped directly from China for like $3 with 2 sided tape a fixed... Just peel, stick, and drive. Ahhh, much better now :thumbsup:
 
Fitted a first aid box under the drivers seat. Got the box, bracket and screws from eBay. Lined it with non-slip stuff and then spent 10 mins fitting it.

Those Torx screws needs a fair bit of pressure to get into the holes, but thanks to previous forum posts, I pushed and screwed and forced the little buggers in. 😀
 
Had ignition coil number 2 replaced at Synter Harverfordwest, on holiday in Wales and it failed on me.... Cost £240 for my trouble FFS but didn't really have options.
