The old ones were original OEM - just looked a bit tired. I was going to get them painted body-coloured, but the cost of that was the same as the Salberks, so decided to go with the new ones. I've now got a set of wheels/tyres and grilles in the garage.

Communicating with Remus I learned there are differences in the US vs the Euro exhaust on the N52 system. In the Euro version there are 2 resonators after the cats. Resonators can be removed without effecting emissions. In the US version the 'resonators' are secondary cats (catalytic converters) and they cannot be removed by law. So it looks like we will be doing a bit of cutting after the secondary cats to keep her legal. More on this when we actually get the system installed...Looking forward to a little more sound. Hoping my zoom zoom goes VaRoom VaRoom
