What have you done to your car today?

Perfect dry cool weather to re-proof the hood. Not too bad a job as long as you take you time and don’t slosh it all over the place. I cleaned the hood last weekend in prep for today. Really pleased with the results - black as the ace of spades, very clean and now super protected from UV and green winter slime....

Drives like a demon now. It was suffering from tramlining and wandering on the motorways. Now it's agile and responsive, but I will admit the set-up is too aggressive for a daily. You'd chew through tyres every few months...
Interested to know your thinking why a csl setup will wear the tyres more quickly than a standard setup?

I'm not a great lover of red cars, especially flat red looking ones, but that looks fantastic 8)

Washed this morning. Then drove to the Watergate Bay hill climb to watch a mate run his Zeus up the hill. Then drove back under the stars, the full moon leading the way home. 8) :D :driving:

Two new rear tyres and a damn good wash, clay, polish and wax. Shame something reacted with the coating on the headlights. Had to wet sand and polish those too :(
Also forgot to take some pictures

It's mainly the rear toe settings - apparently the M3 CSL set-up has much more toe-in (I think it was toe-in, could be out) than the default Z4 (E85/86) set-up, which, combined with the camber setting, is likely to chew through the inner edge.

Couldn't stand living with my CSL's being black any longer so quick visit to Halfords for primer, paint and lacquer and most of the weekend spent on them.
Much happier with them now πŸ˜€

Congratulations to the newly weds!!! πŸ₯‚

Looks so much better in silver!

[ref]Big Andra[/ref], they look great. I much prefer silver, too.
May I ask how much? I'm thinking about doing my M style 224 in a different shade, so currently shopping around for prices.
