Gave the car a machine polish today with a mixture of Menzerna and Poorboys polish and finished off with Megs wax.A shiny black car is a reward for the hard work getting there, only trouble is five miles in the wet and it's back to square one.
Every search for Megs wax only brings up Meguiars various waxes.
Do you have link to the wax you used? Thanks.

Sheared off my Whippy at the base in my attempt to fit a stubby :headbang:

Also noticed that my rear 3rd brake light has a few LEDs failed - so think I’ll use that as an excuse to change it for a clear one. Has anyone got an OEM one for sale? If so PM me please

Search LloydsCarlisleBMW on ebay... genuine BMW dealership and very fair deals. Always used him.

I'm using Megs Deep Crystal Wet Look Cleaner Wax. Once I use it up I'll get some of the carnauba wax and give it a go.

Very neat and tidy  :driving:

Finally broke the resistance of the Whippy! Literally!

Was not budging until it sheared off at the base, so got a replacement base from main dealer and Peugeot/Citroen stubby from eBay.

I didn’t need to replace the grommet as original was fine.

Happy with the end result

Here are the part numbers

Currently at Wheel Alignment Centre in Southampton getting the M3 CSL geo set-up dialled in. Looking forward to the drive home! PSX_20190913_161834.jpg

[ref]tee.gilding[/ref], I'd be interested to hear how it different (improved handling machine?) If feels after a good run.
What wheel offset are you running front and rear? Have you got the Z4M front suspension lollipops fitted?

Took the Mrs out for for a lovely lunch at a country pub in it,... blasted around with the windows open wishing I could put the roof down :?

Quick sloosh over this morning... and made a start on cleaning up the exhaust tips, all ahead of (hopefully) good weather for the Ace next weekend 😁😁

[ref]Spaniarduk[/ref], cheers man... I’m definitely smitten with her 😍

My wife is asleep between night shifts today, and I ended up sneaking outside to sort a couple of problems and do a little detailing this afternoon 😁

Drives like a demon now. It was suffering from tramlining and wandering on the motorways. Now it's agile and responsive, but I will admit the set-up is too aggressive for a daily. You'd chew through tyres every few months...
