What have you done to your car today?

Cleaned the leather seats - home made mixture of the wifes liquid laundry detergent mixed with water in a spray bottle...spray seats, one area at a time then gently wipe with a magic erasure 4 or 5 gentle wipes max per area...then wipe clean with a microfibre cloth...black leather seats like new, no dirty leather shine but a filthy cloth!

Whilst enjoying the sun in manorca I've had an m3 vert front ARB fitted with strongflex poly bushes. Oh and the horrendous blowing exhaust has been sorted. Actually can't wait to get back and drive it :driving: :D

Lot's of swearing and... New seats in, super low, feel great, and no, ride comfort hasn't been improved :D

Now, please put some conditioner on the leather, or it will soon split. Buy some (Autoglym leather balm or Auto finesse Hide conditioner will do) from Halfrauds or somewhere, but please do it!

I use Gliptone products and seem to work well and put a perfume of leather in the car too.

Great, yes I use Gliptone too. Because you didn't say/write that, I jumped to the conclusion you never put any on. Sorry!

I noticed last weekend that the microswitch in the boot was missing; it's fallen off before and I've always been able to find it and put it back in, but this time it was gone. So I bought a replacement off ebay which turned up today; into the boot to remove the shelf and get the old holder out, and low and behold there was the metal tab - it had just been pushed back a few mil and stuck out of sight! Pulled it apart, reassembled and back working again. Annoying as fook as I spent the best part of a day raking through the boot and my toolbox looking for that bloody thing!

So now I have a spare microswitch in case anyone needs one

Picked up my freshly refurbished wheels ready to back on the car tomorrow!
Temporary 107s I had in place during the process will be for sale on here in a day or so. F54873C2-66DD-4A64-B6F7-FBB9231747A1.jpeg

That looks crazy cool but c'mon Tom, with those seats and the cage, it's time to lose the carpet too. Hardcore or nothing! :poke:

The weight savings must be intense?

Parked it in the garage for the next 2 weeks as it's holbags time 🛩🏖🏖😁

Clipped a kerb with my NSF alloy while squeezing over to let an ambulance pass. These were refurbished not too long ago. :headbang:

It wouldn’t have happened if the f*#*ers in big ugly SUVs coming the other way got over a bit too. :-x
