The car hit 60,000 this week so it was time for some preventative maintenance:
Coolant flush
Water pump
Thermostat
Expansion tank
ATF thermostat
Belts
Oil and filter
Oil filter housing gasket
Diff oil change
Air filter
All done with genuine parts from Stealers. Fitted by the good folk at JTD Autos.
Best part of a grand but well worth it for peace of mind. I hope the next 60,000 are as much fun!!

Not much on the car , but got a delivery of Valvoline gearbox oil , which if time prevails then will change at the weekend. Also got some Bouncers Done and Dusted Si detail spray and looks fab and is super slick, so ready for a decent 250 miler on Sunday if all goes to plan 
Managed to unscrew the front bonnet sprung loaded bump stop to find the spring and bottom bit missing, so need to source that as a replacement bit.
I did check the battery , which looks brand new and topped up the cells to the markers, which all seemed lower than it should be, but the plates were covered. Also unscrewed the locating pins for the battery and greased to make sure they never seize.
Roll on the weekend

I finally wore out the old run flat OEM rear tyres, that were on it when I bought it a couple of years ago. I put on some Goodyear F1 asymmetric 5s and it has TRANSFORMED the handling!
I drive a lot of back roads and keeping the thing in a straight line over changing surfaces really detracted from the driving experience. In some cases it was dangerous, as it would tram line you into traffic or a hedge if you didn't correct it!
The new tyres track where you point them, grip hard and ride better too. I'm made up and can't wait to get to know the car's new personality!

Took my car to the garden centre to pick up some bits. In hindsight, I should've taken her A200, as driving home the car was on the rear bump stops :lol: fortunately it was only a 10 minute drive home, albeit a rather uncomfortable one!

Seat goes creak, creak creak............ creak, creak, creak......................So sussed it was the leather against the plastic switch housing rubbing. So a dose of Gliptone and its dead quiet now Luckily done before 180 mile trip today
Never got to change the gearbox oil , as time wasnt on my side , but really needs a change asap. Hopefully in the next week

Changed my standard SE seats for a set of M3 seats I got recently - the difference is out of this world
Installed Meghan racing coilovers, rear shocks and springs, finished CCV replacenent, installed new FI, coils, NGK plugs, starter, alternator, thermostat, water pump, refrigerant top off..... And prepped to replace both top motors and relocate hydraulic 09 -14 mustang pump to trunk.......
