freeriderdave said:So. Today has been a productive day. Got the CDV delete done. OMG! Gear change from first to second is sooo much better. Clutch feels lighter too.
Also had my wheel spacers fitted. 20mm rear and 15mm front. Looks much nicer. And while the wheels were off noticed the springs had 3 dabs if paint on them. Quick forum search, looks like i have sports suspension. Result! Now roof is down. Sun is out and im off for a drive. Cheers.

Hello bud, What wheel spacers did you go for I'm tempted to do mine  ?
My gearchange was very clunky from 1st to second. Felt like the clutch was on its way out. All the gearchanges felt a bit odd. Thought i had the only BMW with a crap gearbox. Now the whole gearchange experience just feels....well, nicer. Nicer to drive. Nicer to be a passenger in too. For a 30min job. Well worth itSpaniarduk said:[ref]freeriderdave[/ref], what was it like in your particular car the change from 1st to 2nd? It does feel a bit clonky in mine. Even crunchy sometimes. I cant see how that would be improved by removing the CDV in my particular case
In what way did yours improve?

[ref]freeriderdave[/ref], how did you manage to do the job without spilling too much fluid while you split the line? Tube clamp? Mole grips? Did you empty the line before you tackled the job? Does it not leak much if left 'hanging'??

That's 'tactical' parking, done deliberately to prevent another car from parking in the space beside him. Because he has an expensive car he deserves two car parks, clearly :roll:ben g said:Went to the shops on the way to work and came back to see this badboy parked (terribly) near me.
I've seen it around a few times now. Sounds incredible 8)
