What have you done to your car today?

The awesome guys at BMR Performace (near Gatwick airport) just finished installing new Bilstein B12 suspension, poly bushes, droplinks track rods and a hunter wheel alignment. This was all due to the arrival of my new 19” 789M M5 alloys from CMwheels. I love the look of CSL rims but really fancied something a bit different. What you guys think?

Now that is lovely 8) always nice to see different styles of wheels on z4's. Makes a change from the 107/108/csl pics

Thanks Ben. My thinking exactly. Although the 107/108/csl setup does look great.

I havent ordered them but there only bog standard philips ones, So rather have them matched to headlight bulbs. Can always use them for spares if needed lol, I just need to get to bmw for a new front bumper clip as last time mine had a crack in it.

Seems the weather got the best of my side window today, washed the car, dried etc. Next thing I know the passenger side window just randomly shatters.

Bloody pain in the arse, had to go buy a car cover too as I couldn't get anything to stick in place. Replacement booked in for Thursday, covered under insurance windscreen cover so no doubt cheaper to just use that and let Auto glass fix it rather than trying to source glass myself for more.

make sure they bring a new door membrane, cant see them taking there time not to damage it

Already been damaged by a previous job of changing the regulator I assume. Can't imagine they'll be providing me a new one to replace a previously damaged one

Actually, saying that I see no harm on requesting it. After all it's the insurance who will be picking up any bill over my excess.

A bit chilly first thing this morning, but had to get all the salt and crud of my pride and joy after the weather we've had this week

After 7 years of owning the car I removed the CVD, 5 minute job and just had a test drive. Can’t say I can notice any difference. :(

I know when i had the motor replaced the warrenty company wouldnt cover it, so i just bought one from dealer, then asked them to use it. Might as well put new one on whilst the airbags off then its done right.

If your refering to the clutch delay valve, if you usually realease the clutch steady then there would be very little diff, but when you drop the clutch the revs quickly match. Probs also depends what state your clutch is at

Hello,

I’m brand spankers to Z4 ownership so I simply Tax’d and washed it!
