I guess I could've replaced the brackets when I fitted the bushes, as a bit of preventative maintenance. Either way, they've done 130,000 miles, so that's pretty good going

I think some bits are cheaper if you visit a dealer in person (this eBay one is BMW Park Lane), but my closest dealer is a 30 mile round trip on the M25, so it's not worth my time and fuel to visit them.
Cleaned up the oil it spat out of the oil filler cap on the way to work... for some reason if I'm not very careful how I put the filler cap back on it leaks, quite badly. I even bought a new cap without the ring attached to it because that was making it difficult to get it to fit properly

Took the Zed for its annual MOT today, passed with two advisories.
1 both front coil springs showing slight corrosion
2 engine and floor under trays fitted unable to check mechanical components.
I asked the examiner if I should remove the floor trays next time I go in for an MOT he said not too as they are factory fitted, cant understand why that should come in for an advisory then
Took it to my local ATS euromaster and it cost £30.00 with my ATS 60 card
Other than that very happy

Mine has the undertray advisory a couple of times in its history. It's annoying, especially since the underbody is much less "packaged" than more modern cars.
If you have a GT3 RS, I bet you can afford to get your MOT done in at a place that will look past this...

I had exactly the same 2 months ago. Car was around 120,000 miles, E86 3.0Si. Near-side front failure - the bracket looked to have sheared but no obvious explanation as to why!
Just reinstalled my drivers door kick plate and I'm going to put on my missing M badge on the drivers side wing and bar a full paint correction from my old man, all the cosmetics will be fixed.
Earlier this week, the broken exhaust clamp has been replaced with a sleeve to tied me over until I can get my mate who has his own business making custom exhausts, to do a full stainless system but with a butterfly valve in it, so I can keep it quiet in the mornings at home, but have it in full song when I am out enjoying the B roads.

You won't be disappointed. I bought a retrimmed standard wheel for my car a few years ago. The retrimmed standard one still wasn't as thick as my standard sport wheel. Just make sure when they retrim your sport wheel they don't end up making it thinner

Tartan has arrived so recaros are off to be retrimmed in black leather with tartan inserts . Along with tartan for doorcard inserts . Wheels are to be dropped at the powdercoaters for colour change and diamond cut lip.
