What have you done to your car today?

And use a breaker bar not your torque wrench, unless it's old and broken like mine :fuelfire:

Ah yeah, I did use a breaker bar. Just used the wrench to get a rough idea of the required torque to press the bush out (it was about 120Nm), because I’d intended to remove two and wanted to be able to know when I was getting into the viable torque range for the second.

Fitted a new cold climate CCV kit, The short commute I've been doing lately must of killed the old one, that and old age/mileage on the original.

Got a call to say my 107's refurb is complete and they're ready to pick up; first thing tomorrow I'll be over to First Aid Wheels so they can take the tyres off my current MV2s, put them on the 107s and 107s onto the car. New center caps also. MV2s are getting refurbed too and will be put up for sale.

Then I need to pack a ton of stuff into it and drive from London to Aberdeen with a stop-off in Birmingham to see Beedub so he can assess the car for a potential L3 detail. New aero wipers fitted also; binned the bosch wipers I bought a few months ago as nothing I did could stop the juddering down the screen.

Which aero wipers did you get?

Just the Bosch Retrofit Aerotwin. Yes the passenger side far end sits an inch off the screen when in the rest position, but the breadth of the wipe is far superior to that of the OEM blades I had bought. And they're silent.

Fitted these LED number Plate lights, was going to just change the bulbs but previous owner had fitted very tight fitting LED's and when removing I cracked the plastic holder.
Only issue is the trim is a couple of mm thicker than standard so a bit more visible, I can live with that..... for now.

[ref]MalNCH[/ref], what's the help in making your number plate more clearly visible when you go past that police car by the side of the road at double the speed limit?? :poke: :P
Only joking. Great improvement for not a lot of money :driving:

That’s what I fitted last week, they are super bright.

Some of the latest LED numberplate bulbs are so bright at night they make most of the plate too white to read

B12A48B2-6CC1-4745-9920-D59F307967ED.jpegDid a full safe wash after work today under the spotlight.
Finished of with some qd spray.
Freshen up of the interior, and then guess what🙄
It started spitting with rain.
Who cares, it’s a great feeling when it’s gleaming and then beading 😀

Excellent work  This sounds like my kind of job. I love a bit of tinkering and cleaning to remedy a problem. Very satisfying :D

Zed becomes homeless end of January, so managed to find a new man cave & a trailer for the journey.
