What have you done to your car today?

Quick wash and hoover.
Applied some tyre gel to the new Goodyear’s.
A thankless task, as is normal, it’s started to drizzle 😳2F4B9E4D-5180-4DD4-9624-917AD331FC71.jpeg

Just washed the z plus the other 2 as it was sunny - just dried them off and its pi :!: :!: ing down now :x :x :x

Was going to take it out a run to the shops today as it was blue skies this morning. Glad I didn't as it's chucking it down now.

Fitted new boot struts in the hope that the boot would open more than just a few millimetres when popped from the keyfob. Fail.

Got some leather cleaner and scrubbed the boot cover clean. Wiped down with wet wipes, dried and topped with conditioner, come out spotless!...

I noticed a lot of white scuffs on the plastic in the boot; any suggestions how to clean it...? Photos below

Washed it, Megs UC, then Poorboys Black Hole, finished with Megs Ultimate Finish. Looking good, but I was knackered...

How’s it driving now? :?
Rob
I posted in my other thread that it's not fixed :( . I'll have to take it back to the garage and see if they can find it. I've been driving it anyway, and other than that noise/rattle/clunking, I'm loving it.

Busy weekend for me! Fixed a blown downpipe gasket which meant removing the rusted out old studs from the manifolds, full exhaust off etc. After that it was rip out the old damaged dashboard and replace with the new one I got.

I'll let the pics do the talking!

Not sure why these are upside down!
I find that if you give your files names like Dash1.jpg, Dash2.jpg etc then upload them, they will be the correct way up.

Now that is dedicated, great work mate

Gave it a wash inside and out and then found that this wasn’t clipped on properly, so I clipped it back on...

I’m not sure what the part does though (or hasn’t been doing) !?

Well, I didn't do it myself, but I had a brake refresh done on mine. New MTEC dimpled/grooved discs, Brembo pads, Biggred caliper rebuilds up front, and Goodridge braided hoses. Can't wait to pick it up later today!

Wow! Great work. Now you've done it, how long do you think the dash removal alone would take, given a decent amount of DIY experience and the right tools?
