What have you done to your car today?

Washed her yesterday in between blowing a hooley and as soon as I finished it started pi$$ing down.
Ice this morning, so winters here :( .

companycardriver: carpet segments on the walls = brilliant. Thanks!!

Thank you sir. The carpet is glued on to some thin board then screwed to the wall. Makes getting in and out much easier.
Along the same lines as this, I have glued a couple of carpet tiles to our garage wall where the door would be likely to hit.
Your right it does make it easier getting in and out as if needed the door can be rested on the carpet tile instead of the concrete wall.

Had a new windscreen fitted.....didn't realise just how pitted the original 14 year old screen was!

Been thinking about getting my screen replaced due to pitting and really bad etching on the passenger side. Did you do it privately? If so do you mind sharing who you got to do it?

 you robbed that

Was the fitting of it ok?

I don’t know, I’ve just finished my //M bonnet and half way through my headlight upgrade so not even had time to attempt it yet, am hoping to before Xmas though it all depends on how long these lights take as I keep changing my mind about what I want to do and add

My screen was so pitted, fortunately though a had a good sized stone chip so it was replaced through the insurance by autoglass

i noticed that yesterday also on eBay...but he had different item numbers so I assume just used the same pic. I’ll let you know when mine lands :?

Had a go at cleaning up the seats a bit. Look a lot better now, but there are a few odd whitish marks on the passenger seat and side of the centre console. Not sure what they are, or how to remove them, but they're not too bad (just a bit annoying).

Washed and dried, vacuumed out the interior, leather conditioned, cleaned all the plastic, then did a bit of cruising with the roof down :)
