What have you done to your car today?

Had a new starter motor and battery installed due to a non-start which required the car to be trailered

Took advantage of the garage session by getting Ultraracing bars fitted too

They look awesome, did the car feel any different on the drive home?

The car feels solid and more 'well planted' than before - although of course it wasn't exactly flimsy before.

I need to play with the rebound of my coilovers as the whole car feels a little bumpier than before

One negative though is that with being stiffer, bumps in the road are absorbed less so the inside of the car has developed a few little rattles and squeaks. Definitely not a deal-breaker though - I would recommend the upgrade to anyone..

Waved goodbye to my hardtop  it always looked so good too :( I just didn't have anywhere to store it without the risk of damaging it.

If anyone's thinking of getting one, I highly recommend them, if only for the cosmetic appeal.

Nice one 👍 That reminds me, I have a little rattle from under my steering wheel to sort out

Thanks :D I was going to get them refinished a dark graphite, darker than the Sterling Grey paintwork when I got them. The Mrs said "Grey car, grey hardtop and grey wheels ? That's a lot of grey ! What about black ?" So took a chance on gloss black. A real PITA to keep looking nice but I do love 'em

Treated it to 25 litres of Sainsburys Super Unleaded while I was over visiting my Mum - it only cost 1p a litre more than my local Tesco is charging for standard unleaded. :o

Gave her the weekly wash.
And then it rained.

thanks, am hoping the addition of the goodyear non runflats will help the wheels live long enough to enjoy them

Tried to fit my winter wheels today - could not undo the wheel bolts, and ended up chipping some paint off the wheel, so had to go to local tyre fitters to have them swapped over...
