Oh.......and a quick wash and a wax.
I left it to someone else to faff about with it. Apparently heating it up to stretch it out worked a treat. The middle supports need trimming down a fair bit. The splitter itself is not as wide as the Z4 bumper, but the ends are longer and overhang the end of the bumper and touch the wheels.mjennings23 said:LittleZ4 said:Buckley06 indicator badges have now been fitted along with clear lenses. Much modification needed to the splitter? Considering one myself

On a side note, maybe someone can shed some light on this. On the way there, I had a new Golf GTI behind me for some way that would push me between 80-110 but once we got to 115-120 he'd start falling behind and didn't seem like he could keep up. Was the driver holding back or was my car just too much in the higher range?

I have use of one and it's a lovely car but the torque curve is pants compared to a sixer. I'd say you were hitting the sweet spot on the rev band where he was going past it's max curve, unless he dropped a cog.stupot1 said:Definitely holding back,AC5L4T3R said:Didn't change anything but made use of the Autobahn driving from Stuttgart to Munich and back. Just come back from Germany, 105 just keeping up with traffic isn't for me and rep mobeeels flying past me doing 130/140 ....bloody barmy.
Also a Golf GTi got wrecked right in front of me, went off the motorway veered to the left across 3 lanes walloped the barrier and bounced on its wheels back on to the verge...write off!
