Cheers mate, yeah thought as it was really hot it would help with the removal, took a few hours longer than I planned but well worth it :)

Did you remove the white wrap (I think it's a wrap) or apply the yellow wrap?

Only reason I ask is because it looks exactly the same as Phoenix yellow, which is lovely.

It had a white wrap on when I bought it so removed it back to it's original colour :)

My car seems to have fixed itself... Well that's handy!

No more issues with the brake pressure sensor, reading is now back to -1.3 bar when no pressure on the pedal, whereas before it was reading 6.8 bar.

What did I do? Nothing really, sprayed some contact cleaner on the plug and then 3 days later it decided to work :?

I have got a new sensor on hand now anyway, just in case it is needed

Car finally back on the road tonight after a string of missed deadlines by the bodyshop painting the front bumper. Here's a snap from the test drive tonight!

And in even better news, dialling out the sticky steering has been a success. The steering has never felt so good in my ownership (6 weeks or so) and 15 minutes cooking my feet with the heaters had no effect.

Today I got round to installing the cruise control retrofit kit I've had for about two months! A bit fiddly, but all done in around an hour and definitely worth doing. I've Been missing having cruise control when driving the Z on motorways :)

Passed MOT no advisories, polly bushes fitted, sound deadening in doors now clunks without that horrible rattling noise. Struggling to find Sachs springs though.

Completed most of the suspension refresh - shocks and springs at the front and rear, front ARB bushes, droplinks and complete tie rods. Just had the 4 wheel alignment done and it now drives like it should.

The shocks/springs were absolutely shot after 100k so were in need of doing, the car no longer bottoms out at the sight of the smallest bump in the road!

I have attached a picture as I have been slack in that department being a newbie and all. While I know some of you will be shocked at the now massive arch gap, the 16 inch wheels, big sidewalls and new suspension components make the car so compliant on B-Road runs.

The plan is to now enjoy it after spending the first 3 months of ownership getting it up to scratch!!

Took the Z out for a sunset blast to Clevedon last night. Love driving this thing during a dramatic sunset!

Especially when Clevedon seafront is the destination! 8)

Took mine in for an MOT, and it passed.

No advisories any more either, thanks to ducklakeview replacing my rear brake pipes in copper last year - cheers, Mike.

Added some noise to the rear by changing the back box for straight pipes, really happy the sound as i heard it can suffer from the drone but it's not too bad :)

Next job is to remove the rear tints and the rear passenger alloy is getting repaired on Thurs along with 2 new tyres..
