Washed the Coupe, and changed the number plate screws. Something which has dine me in since owning. Still have original dealer plates so now look sweet. And I think have to back Whippy the signal is doing my head in....ahhjhh

Today I learnt that both window regulators have been previously replaced, so that's a good sign.
However, the way I found this out is the utter state the vapor barriers have been left in, with tears and cuts all over rather than whatever buffoon who did the work cutting the butyl!
However, never had any moisture issues so taped it up in a weatherproof duck tape and hopefully that will sort it.

On to the reason I had the doors off, sound deadening is now installed and the doors no longer sound like tin cans!

- Sound generator retrofit (including immediate removal of the big piece of foam): done
- Cruise control retrofit: done

- Ordered the Sport button, and considering the ‘passenger airbag disable’ retrofit

Changed my busted amp to harman kardons from an e46. Z4 amps are just too expensive.

I’d be really interested to hear how you tackle the passenger airbag disable retrofit. From what I gather the parts required (switch, light and wiring) are no longer available. I really want to do this, along with the ISOFIX hard points on the passenger seat.

I’d be really interested to hear how you tackle the passenger airbag disable retrofit. From what I gather the parts required (switch, light and wiring) are no longer available. I really want to do this, along with the ISOFIX hard points on the passenger seat.

The retrofit kit is no longer available, but all parts (except instructions) - switch, light & wiring are available as separate parts. I was made aware there are different version lights which are specific to other components, and I wasn’t sure which was which so I held off doing it until I have more time to research it further

Got to agree there J - feels like we've been there and seen that now with the M4 / M3 - nothing particularly different about it. Nice colour though.
