6 days of tinny doors was enough for me. Door cards off today and outer door skins soundproofed. SO much better - sounds German now! :evil:

Hah, I know what you mean. Other cars from the same era are a bit less bulbous - 456 and the F355, for example. If they'd made something road legal that looked like the 550 GTS, that would have been epic.

I had my own fibreglass business producing Mk2 MR2 skirts, bumpers and spoilers. Someone approached me asking me to make a Ferrari replica and I flatly refused.
Why would you? The interior is a big give away.

Began my refurb with an interior spruce! Wrapped the brushed aluminium trim in piano black wrap. All went well until I got the parts back in, and the ash tray clip ripped the wrap as I popped it back in

Thinking of removing the wrap to re-spray the aluminium parts in black instead of wrapping. Imagine the finish will be more professional looking?
