What have you done to your car today?

While I was being productive I also changed my rear pads, this also entailed replacing the brake wear sensor :)
The Carly app managed to clear the low brake warning without any grief as well

Removed the lowered (30 mm) Eihach springs all round and replaced with std sport springs, went for a test run and was amazed at how much more compliant the ride is, washed it and looked at it a lot, In my eyes I think it sits a lot better now. I know many like the dropped look and appreciate it's a matter of personal taste.
4 springs will be available in buy and sell just got to get the springs off the leaking shocks. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜‰

that's better, they look good. :)

Just changed my valvetronic gasket, but want to make sure I have torqued correctly. Is it 7Nm or so for the outer screws that seem to go into the plastic cover and 9Nm for the M6 screws that hold the motor on?

If you are able to, could you get photo's of the part numbers on your eibach springs please?

The reason I ask is because I have eibach on mine and the rear seems to sit a little higher than some other eibach equipped Z4's I've seen on here. I want to make sure I have the correct springs fitted for my roadster, as I've read the coupe has different part numbers.

Thanks in advance if this is possible

Hi Ben g, of course no problem, front springs are 11200100:VA and rears are 11200100HA. Let e know if pics are still required.

Washed it and then cleaned the windscreen with tyre dresser :headbang: :headbang: Dope

Then took me ages to the clean it of with the correct product.

Always look at what you pick up out of your car cleaning kit before applying hahaha

 you live and learn.

I once made the mistake of putting rain X on my windscreen a couple of years ago. It made my wipers screech everything I used them at less than 50mph for some reason.

The windscreen has just been replaced and I won't be making the same mistake again!!!

A/C re-gas. Never used Kwik-fit before, but it is just round the corner from me and the owner's knowledge of old ///Ms and the sight of his own car were reassuring...
