What have you done to your car today?

Bought & fitted one of these little beauties:

On removing the centre console ashtray found that one had been fitted by a previous owner but had been removed for some reason. Made fitting a new one easier though as the wiring had already been tapped into. A proper soldering job too . Works a treat.

Got to be one of the best upgrades out there for a roadster :D

Still trying to decide on wheels, and more importantly colour. In terms of style I'm looking at the 7 spoke BBS CH-R type, but not exactly. Currently torn between going for the cheaper option of Cades Bern wheels, if I can get them in Hyper Silver, or possibly pushing the boat out a bit and getting Enkei wheels, similar style but slightly nicer design and what you would expect to be a significantly higher quality wheel.

Decisions!

Lovely looking thing, but I think Hyper Silver is going to win out against black, I love how much it pops.

On a side note, been looking online and it seems american tyre and wheel sellers tireshop.com have a 'preview' option on their site... so do we like?

Absolutely think these Enkei wheels are leading the way, known to be incredibly high quality, most would say above any cast OEM alternative, and around 20% a wheel lighter than factory 18s. Would love BBS but genuinely couldn't justify the extra on top of another top brand.

Black?? Anthracite :P
And Yeh in hindsight dropping a grand on wheels was a bit much, but you get what you pay for! No experience with Enkei, but buy whatever you like look of

Managed to get rid of some scratches on the bonnet with some wet sanding
Nice work. Always been too scared to try it. Have a small but deepish scratch on the rear bumper

Got rid of the m359s. We're never keen on 18s on those style of wheels. Got some 108s in exchange

Much happier. These have to be one of the nicest oem wheels for the zed

Keep it like that. Looks perfect now.

Had my roof down all day today. Weathers been gorgeous again in the South East.

Went to have a browse at some nice Italian metal...ended up putting a deposit down on a fast alfa for the missus 8) hopefully pick it up next week.

Took the wife out for a spin and she wanted to take some pictures.

Nah, we need at least 1 practical car in the family  she's gone for a Giulietta. Nice car and more power than her Fiesta ST, so hopefully she won't get bored easily :driving:

It was my 1st attempt at wet sanding so I used 7000 grit which came out easier than I expected

Nothing :( due to streaming eyes from hay fever seems more aggressive this year just have to wait for another sunny weekend for some top down action
