What have you done to your car today?

The rain stopped and the sun appeared, so went over it quickly with some Williams wash & wax, leaves a nice glossy finish.
Then done a bit of maintenance. Bonnet catch was really stiff, so greased that up and it's working nicely now.
Then stood back and checked out the ride height with the Bilstein B4's and eibach springs. Front sits a little high, compared to the old knackered shocks, but it clears speedbumps now and doesn't bounce everywhere, so it's better as a daily driver.

Well my sick zed is being nursed back to health by DLV once stripped found loads of stuff that needs attention including lollipops which were done 12 months ago also engine mount expansion tank so head off for testing tomorrow then once Done precautionary bits ie water pump new belts also vanos refurb ect ect and new front suplex springs OMG this will feel like a new car afterwards can’t wait

I took mine off last weekend and then saw the forecast and put it back on!
We picked up my wife's Z4 on Tuesday, it's a blue 2.0i SE with cream interior. Had an oil leak at the front of the engine that had been left for a while so at the weekend I cleaned it up with some degreaser and replaced the cam cover gasket. I should have taken some before and after pictures. Then I took it for a drive with the hood down and it's great, really pleased with it. I was so happy with it that I treated it to a valet at the local hand car wash

Finally got round to the fog light condensation fix that other members have done by drilling three holes on the underside of the plastic fitting, used a hairdryer for a few minutes, condensation gone, fingers crossed it stays that way, took the hardtop off yesterday the suns out so I took it out for good long ride
