'Swafega' treatment? What's that all about? I know this stuff from years ago but it's not used these days at work, considered far to harsh on the fair skinned youngsters. So, where/how have you used it?
I use it mixed with leather cleaner to remove the sheen / dirt on leather seats . Applied gently with a worn kitchen fleece . Then dried with towel cloth & apply conditioner until tacky then again dry off with soft cloth![]()
Could this age old technique be used to give the leather on the steering wheel back it’s appealing matt finish?
Yes i do it on the steering wheel too but be wary where the leather meets plastic , you don't want to rub over onto the rubberised plastic trims .
Wheel feels great once thoroughly cleaned back & ive done this with all Zs , doesn't harm the leather
