New rocker cover gasket fitted and 6 new plugs also. :D

No issues with the dusty coils? i.e. you didn't replace them?

No coils were fine. Should i have replaced them?

No idea mate! Saw your other post but didn’t know what the cause / outcome was. I’ll be doing the rocker at some point so wanted to know if the dust was an issue? Or is it just superficial rust?

Deep cleaned the inside of the car after my poor wife was violently I’ll inside! Seats out, vax on max. Toothbrush in the seat runners. Vacuum the inside of the door pockets. Strip the door. Lovely!

Oh dear! Hope she’s okay Paul. There seems to be a lot of nasty flu and colds going round this winter!

Some of the dust cleaned off actually. I would imagine the coils are still the original ones and the car is 14 years old in March.

Lowered my drift toy and painted the wheels a subtle shade

Painted in MS Paint by any chance?

No straight up done em with some day glo orange from the range haha

I zoomed in and it genuinely looked like an ms paint job  even the wheel bolts have been painted!

Having renovo'd the roof, polished, waxed, decontaminated the glass and applied rainex (and fixed the wing mirror glass that fell off during the process ) yesterday - I don'd a hat, put the roof down and took it for a hoon today.. I was thinking about selling it because it isn't really getting much use, but i'd forgotten what a big smile it puts on my face :driving: bloody brilliant!

She is fine now thanks, at least it’s a drop top so I can open it up and let it breath!

Mines due this week. Hoping she goes the same way. No failures on record, always nice to keep it up.

Finally have heating back in my Z4 after about 6 months of struggling without it!

Basically, tried to swap to facelift heater controls and for some reason the car didn't like it.

I ended up having heating only in 'hurricane mode' (when you press the demister button). Every other time, it just blew out cold air.

Finally bought a cheap (£36) set of pre-facelift controls, installed them and all is working well again

Now I just need to attempt to try and fit the facelift front controls again at some point. If the same thing happens again, I will go crazy  :headbang:

After a clean I decided it was time to fit something that was long overdue... Shame about the rainIMG_2242.JPG

jesus, need Xray vision to see that :D
  I know, all the other options were a bit too 'loud' for me, the thinking was it will only be noticed by people who have an interest in the car so either current members or people who would be interested in the forum.

Passenger side xenon was pointed at the ground this morning! Honestly, you give this car a treat and it repays you with a niggle!

Anyway, will pull the stepper motor out this weekend and give it a greasing, I expect it's probably dried up and got a bit stuck.

Edit: so I left work, started the car and... Working fine! Strange, will monitor!

Fitted new ABS sensor right rear to get rid of lights on dash.
Padgid sensor from ecp £50 and a few hours in cold garage.
Lights went out after a few yards.
Job done
