Mike

Yes, apart from 2 x 6 packs of 1.75L coke that went in the passenger footwell.

I'm a dab hand at packing the boot, although sometimes end up with a bit more inside if I want the roof down :D

Bought and fitted new brembo disc and pads front to back got for £150 all in so I was pleased with that, went pretty smoothly apart from having to drill out the retaining screw on one of my old brake discs which I found to be put on cross threaded by a previous owner so now need to order a new screw but other than that very happy with my results.
Matt.

Went for a drive in my new bmw trainers that were a christmas pressie from the missus. Well i had to test them out.
Also got a new low profle trolley jack and stands for painting my calipers once the weather improves.

Come on then OP - tell us if they aided heel and toe downchanges!

And with your user name, maybe you could post a photo of your hat(s).

Washed the car, cleaned and renovated the seats, coated all the faded trim. :)

Planning a quick polishing tomorrow morning...

Don't know if i am a good enough driver for them to make much of a difference but they are certainly comfortable, as i find all puma trainers.
Good spot on the username, it's a tip to my love of cycling, its used like - 'i take my hat off to you', but i guess hat is just easier to say?

Hi Chapeau

On the basis of your nom de plume description shouldn't you known as "Casque"? :poke:

Just realised that looks like I'm calling you a "helmet"!
That's not what I meant......err shall I get me coat?

Not today but last night I fitted the aux audio cable to my roadster. Far easier than I thought, job done in about twenty minutes. I still want to change the head unit out at some point but this will keep me going for a while

The Zeds going through its final prep before being put away for the next 3 months. Once the garage is cleared tomorrow, its goodnight but it means I can work on some small issues which I want sorted before it comes back out to play.

Back to using an Astra 1.6...pros - cheaper running costs, insurance and road tax. Cons - its not the Zed :headbang:

Replaced the corroded fog lights with blanking plates (ignore the washer fluid on the floor,)

Did you make the blanking plates?
Good idea as the standard fog lights are pretty crap, most I see are full of condensation .

I replaced my windowscreen washer cap with a bit of a plastic bag and a rubber band, technically I still have the cap because I can see it on the tray under the engine.
