What have you done to your car today?

Fronts were even less, 0.02mm so the vibration is coming from elsewhere...

Mike

Have you checked your front rtab's?
I guess it's a process of elimination then and checking the usual suspension components/ball joints etc. I'd probably start with the ball joints on the front arms

Is it me, or does that disc look really worn? Should the lip be that deep?

Nope, plenty on them, they are worn by less than 0.5mm.

New wiper blades on both the mini and the zed, eurocarparts sent the wrong fitment for the mini so I had to drive to their shop & sort the muppets out
All sorted now though
Rob

Finished fitting my new camshaft / rocker cover complete with new gasket. Also fitted a new set of spark plugs while the coils were out.

Good job done!

All set for Newlands Corner meet on Sunday :)

New spark plugs, NGK BKR6EQUP. Old ones, presumably originals, had essentially no center electrode left and were nicely glued in (only 55k miles, too). Looks like they were oiled on install and it polymerized nicely. Put a bit of anti-seize on the new ones. Easy job, easier than the wife's Scion 4-banger or the Nissan truck, which requires removal of the intake manifold.

@Dis86

sorted the steering wheel finally..

new spoke trim(old has cracked to bits no idea why or how.)
and cleaned up the worn coating of the button trim, in my opinion it looks pretty good.

Decided to ditch this ugly thing

Picked her up some goodies..

Full set of electric folding mirrors, complete with looms, module and switches as well as a facelift climate control panel, oh and an ///M rear bumper :D

Mike

Fitted (nearly) the elec folding mirrors :)

Also, as had the doors in pieces, decided to get the LED handle lights in.

Went with one LED initially..

20171114_181749.jpg

Ok, but not very bright..

Then two...

20171114_190253.jpg

Better, but could do with being more diffused.

So, settled on three :)

Just got to feed the cables back through the door connector, and get them back together, but that's a job for tomorrow..
