What have you done to your car today?

Dragged the Zed kicking and screaming out of the garage, in the rain :o and took it for a drive out on the moors. Got it filthy dirty. Ragged it's round behind on the way home, as the roads were bone dry by then. :driving: Then washed and hoovered and tucked away till the next time. :D

I love my Zed.

Had an early drive over to Ockham and met RickRob for a coffee - nobody else turned up, even though the weather was fine! :(

Then when I got home I replaced my stubby with a whippy in the hope I may get more than crackles on the radio (I meant to do it before I went out, but I'm only half awake at 08.00 on a Sunday).

I've got a nice bit of ply in the boot already!

In anticipation of going onto non-RFTs I bought a 17inch spacesaver on here and the seller had made up a platform for it to sit on to level up with the step in the boot-floor, Velcro to stick to the carpet and a couple of bolts to secure the wheel.

It's about 18 inches square, so I've probably got more wood than you - mine is just a bit less in yer face!

Today was Mot day, all it needed was a number plate bulb and there was one advisory ball joint with a slight amount of play. The cars almost on 120k miles now so pretty happy width that!

Had some dents removed on the Zeds..

On the 2.0, the door and quarter had taken a heavy knock..

He also removed a tiny ding in my door.

Trade rates, £100 all inf that little lot, and I was very happy.

Looking good Mike.

I wouldn't mind betting it'd cost twice as much down my way. :(

Iain.

Good work with the dents, rear quarter especially.
Not today but yesterday.

Changed Rocker cover gasket.
Put Official BMW Cupholders in (Found a Z4 with them in at a scrappy, £5 each)
Swapped out Door cards from tatty fabric ones to Leather ones.
Changed Passenger seat from crappy fabric to Leather & Cleaned seat belts (Bitch of a job on this car it seems)
Changed plugs, Oil and filter
Removed inverted dent from bonnet (looked like someone shut the bonnet on something) Christ the bonnet is flimsy.
After spending an hour trying to find the right dolly to use on the dent, cleaned carpets with trusty Vanish carpet cleaner.
After a long and final argument with the motor ripped out the gippo wind deflector, it rattled in the wind and hovered out from the underside of the hood all of the previous owners 5 years worth of fag ash!

Now it smells nice and cancer free, Tomorrow drivers seat get's changed out.

added carbon leather dash parts

big thanks to dannytheduck1985
