What have you done to your car today?

I did the dynomat and carpet on the parcel shelf last weekend but it makes very little difference to my ears. I think the majority of the road noise comes in from the rear window and hood.

It doesn't stop much road noise but it does stop the crappy thing rattling it's t*ts off until you go insane !

I bagged a MF wheel last week but it needed the plastics tarting up, so been busy doing them. I'm very happy with the finish. The leather is in great condition, just cleaned and fed it

I picked mine up after a few days away having some cosmetic updates - full paint correction and ceramic coating, plus fitment of my used Scorpion exhaust and TD Le Mans rims. Also had the rubber donut replaced on the propshaft and driveability is much improved even without CDV delete (that’s next!).

Annoying I lost a headlamp washer cover in the way to the detailers so that’s another job to add to the to-do list!

Had the rear quarter painted and the front bumper painted where the reg plate holes were

I'd defo stick with the FL headlights, going back to gingers would date the front end IMO.

I made an offer on some wood trim on ebay haha

Not done much to my car recently.
This evening I replaced a broken rivet on a bracket in the engine bay and replaced a partially collapsed vac pipe.
I have started collecting parts for my winter project.

So far I have the Cruise Control loom, (Thanks Steve), a pair of Mad Monkey back boxes, and a Gruppe M (both acquired from departed forum member JAD) sitting in my garage waiting to be fitted.

I had an advisory last year on a track rod inner, but I'm not convinced so I need to check it and if it is faulty replace it.

I fitted my hard top

Did the MFSW myself earlier, made my own loom and connected into the car in the pedal area rather than at the LCM, as it's tight behind the dash for working space.

So did you pick up the same 2 wires, just lower down the loom then Mike. Am I right in thinking one comes from the radio and the other from the lighting circuit. Did you just use normal vehicle wires ?? How did you connect into the wheel plug.

Yes m8, traced them down. I used a bit of twin core bell wire type cable I had left over from worrying the electromagnetic locks on the garage door, and pulled a couple of terminals from the donor car as it no longer needs them, and soldered the new cable to them.

Popped the CDV off the M this afternoon. Very pleased, has made a quite noticeable difference. I know some M owners don’t find any difference but I have, well worth doing.

Here’s the little fella and a pinky for size comparison if anyone wonders.

As well as doing the mfsw wiring, I decided to split my clocks as the dust inside them was annoying me.. Look much better now. Also adjusted the ring on the lower steering motor, hoping to smooth it out a bit. Will find out on my way to work if it's been effective.
