What have you done to your car today?

Changed FCBs. 2 hours of fun. Not bad, actually; glad I have a puller, BFH wasn't going to the job. One had failed completely, one was kind of crooked on the control arm, not sure how that happens.

Today I changed the Passenger door Airbag, not difficult but in unclipping the door card the panel slipped and broke the lock pin clip at the bottom of the rod, I need to find a replacement but it isn't even on the parts list and nor is the rod, would anyone have a spare? Or be able to tell me where to find one it's such a tiny bit of plastic but I'd rather not glue to the lever in the door.

I added these 18" csl reps, finished in a light shadow chrome they look great. Bought from a forum member, this forum is a great resource!

Why did you change the airbag?

I repaired my passenger side window regulator last year and when I put it all back together the airbag light came on, won't reset or anything so I'm thinking of swapping out he air bag to see if it fixes it (if not then I assume I'll have to then look into the loom, which I don't want!!)

Spent 8 1/2 non stop hours cleaning her, ready for her play date on Saturday :)

Happy though..

Installed a second matching light in the boot and fitted led bulbs so I can now actually see what I'm doing in there.

[ref]co-pey[/ref],

Just saw your post when you wrapped your wood grain. Was wondering what the process of getting it all out is like as I am thinking about doing something similar to my "brushed aluminium" as its looking a bit scratched and chipped in places.

Bring your sunglasses tomorrow, it's shiny as hell!

The bottom rad hose was leaking so just replaced that, the aux belts, which looking at the date on them were original 2003, and whilst I had the coolant out, the water pump, which was in very good condition and assumed original.

Added sound deadening to both door skins and on the back of the door cards. Makes such a huge difference. Cheap @ £15 and simple to do
