Ministry Of Transport. Not sure they anything to do with it anymore but that"s the origins of your road worthiness test on cars

Ah, got it. Thanks.

if you fail you car needs to be taken off the road or fixed.. :o

bit of a pita on older cars I'd say... my other car had advisories for rust on the underside :fuelfire:

I"m thinking, in 1 year 6k miles and new battery, left wishbone, new pads + discs on rear, tyres also @ 6k, no rust, everything works so maybe I"m in with a chance of keeping it on the road, maybe maybe

well my zed passed with no advisories end of 2016 but I'm sure the front suspension bushes are shot! i've got the control arms just couldn't get them out on the side of the road :| need to send it to a garage.

Had new tyres fitted fitted to my new reps

Put some miles on the clock and got it dirty.
Was looking to book a couple of nights away next weekend with Mrs J and could have done it online or over the phone but opted to drive there and do it in person.
Sun was out, roof down and heating on.

Finished polishing the leather work following restoring the scuff on the drivers side bumper. Very pleased with the result.
Then washed and polished the car. Inside and out, glass work and rubber, etc.
Now to watch England stuff France at Twickers! 8)

Gave the coupe a snowfoam wash & pamper before enjoying the Ribble Valley on a day that saw virtually no other traffic & weather was also great

Driven it in the winter sunshine to watch Bristol City manage a first win and overcome Rotherham United (first win since December!)

COYR (but with 4 away games on the trot against Derby, Leeds, Newcastle and Villa, the zed will not travel for just 1 point imo!) - Just Polished listening to the radio commentary!

Relegation? We are in it!

Zed Happy! Bcfc - not as much!

Tomo

Drove up to Dartmoor again, frosty this morning which is always fun on summer rubber. :driving: As seems to happen every time I take it out lately, it was raining by the time I got back from my walk, so no photos of the Zed. :(

Then washed it in the rain, before tucking it away again until the next time. The neighbours must laugh at that one every time.

Fantastic picture Mr Wilks coupe looks really good. Wheels look great on it as well. You need to enter that in this month's photo competition.

Superb photo Mr W!

After 18 months searching for the wires to connect my footwell lights, no wires found. So decided to wire them from scratch taking supply from centre cabin light. Switch on with doors and centre light switch and fades out a treat. Whilst I had trim and covers removed, fitted cruise control stork and ran all wires of loom to their respective places before refitting covers. Next weekend will be battery disconnection and final connections. Ran out of daylight today. :x
After that need to book a trip up North to get roof motor relocated and cruise control a try out at the same time.

Can someone confirm when the Z battery is disconnected and then reconnected. What needs resetting other than the clock? Windows, radio, etc?
