Any recommendations for where to buy exhaust tips for a 2.5si sport? Or what size I would need to buy?
Talk to Matt (Machine Monkey) on here. I think he is back making them.

Replaced rear shocks and springs with B12 kit. Fronts to do when I get a spring compressor!
Old rear shocks were knackered.

- Washed with Bilt Hamber Shampoo
- Power hosed
- Clayed with Bilt Hamber
- Power hosed again
- Power hosed the interior by accident through an open window :slaphead:
- Polished with Menzerna heavy cut (by hand)
- Waxed with Meguires paste wax (by hand)

..... Absolutely f*****g knackered !!
Tomorrow going to Autoglym the roof

Fitted new Vanos seal kit after all the hype and having 83K on the clock, not a huge difference but the traction control light flashes more often. :D :driving:

Looked at it out of the window - been found to have had a couple of small strokes so can't drive until I have seen the specialist in 4 weeks all being well fingers crossed

 Jabber, that's crap. Have had a couple of friends suffer strokes, not nice :| . We're at that age mate! Looks like you've been lucky & been caught at the right time. I know I don't know you but I wish you all the best & a speedy recovery so you can get behind the wheel of your lovely Zed.
All the best,
Dave

Thanks Dave that is appreciated

Fitted new Meyle Expansion Tank after the original '03 one decided to crack and dumped all the coolant out whilst my Mrs was driving home last week :x . Fortunately she was only half a mile from home. Anyway, the Meyle one is a quality item and went on with no problems. Refilled system with Comma Xstream G48, bled it, took it for a run, let it cool and checked the level. Bang on...sorted ! Happy again. :D I was on a roll then and decided it deserved a bit more TLC so got carried away with a couple of hours of quality detailing time. All is well.

Stay positive and focussed fella!
They'll have you on a cocktail of pills with your breakfast and you'll be back to normal.

Ask to see the specialist privately - you'll be suprised how little it costs and how quickly you see him / her - beating the queue? Yes and who cares.

I really hope all goes well jabber - my Dad had a catastrophic stroke at 61 and never walked again. :(

Then in 2006 I had a TIA at the Royal Albert Hall so I had 1 month of not driving myself - it's really tough, but 11 years on I just enjoy every day. That's partly (mainly?) why I bought my Z4C!

Look forwards, not back.

And all the best!

PM sent.

Ordered up 8 clips a week a go.
Four for the B Piller trim parts. One was off on passenger side when I bought the car and a gorilla broke the other one off when I had it in the shop tho they refused to accept the claim when I called them out on it :x . No more work from me. (2 Each)
Four for the drivers side door sill kick plate. (was in the car but off when I bought it.) Refurbished paint for the silver bit of it as it was scuffed and fading.
Closer to getting those little niggle pieces all tied up.

Next week, order a new windshield cowl. Age has the current one all faded and broken.
:D

Gawd I love this car. Thanks to the wife for putting up with my passion.
