Looks good !
Out of interest, which jack have u got?
Is it easily stored ?...

It’s an Arcan Jack. Bought from Costco a few years ago. I believe they now do a new version. It’s heavy as f**k mind so I just leave at home.

First time in the elevator entrance for the underground garage, I was terrified, but all went well. :D

Thanks Doddsy. Looks this one may be suitably low enough: https://www.sgs-engineering.com/tj2-5lp-low-profile-garage-trolley-jack?gclid=Cj0KCQiAs5eCBhCBARIsAEhk4r71T1dJ9w8BuJyTSKkppfzHx5OD80BLW4jXoUXybFYlZLqPZhI-vEIaAqNCEALw_wcB

Any jacks you may recommend?

Thanks Mr Tourette! It's light, so I may be able to park in on a shelf for storage

After being off the road since last September she passed the MOT today, well failed initially on a duff numberplate light :headbang: . Fully serviced too & I've just taxed her now so can't wait to get out & about :driving: .
First run will be tomorrow to take SWMBO to work & then off to Costco to fill her up with Super & take the long route home .

I have that jack, it’s well built and is perfect for low cars, not that light though. Good customer service from SGS too

thanks all. Just realised, meant to say 'Any stands you recommend?'...

Took headlights apart and cleaned.
Cleaned leather.
Sanded off corrosion and painted the inside of the wheels.
Tweeked the tracking a bit.
Painted some happy little brake calipers.

Fixed the rattley brake backing plates... someone had been in there before and used a washer where the bracket had broken. I took the backing plates off drilled out and riveted on a new bracket bridging over the broken part. Worked a treat and didn’t cost me the £148 bmw wanted for new backing plates.

I battled with a bast@rd lower rear damper bolt as I changed the springs. I won....eventually. Halfords 24” breaker bar came to the rescue in the end.

Took wifey's 2.5i for its MOT first thing.
Been checking on the .gov.uk website all day.
Passed! No advisories! Woo-hoo!
And to cap it all, the sun has come out for my 2 mile walk to collect it 8)
