What have you done to your car today?

Tyres swapped from my 108s to 107s and fitted. No spacers as God intended. Many thanks to True Blue for the 107s

They look so right... I’m probably going to find another set :headbang:

Finally got around to fixing the seals on my headlight covers. As advised by a previous poster I turned the rubber seals around and smeared a bit of Vaseline on them to help make a good seal.

I’m sure anyone that has done this theoretically simple tasks knows how much of a fiddle and a faff It is to get the covers back in place. I am hoping the fellow member that suggested adding vaseline to the equation hasn’t been laughing at my expense ever since posting the advice :D

Seriously, thanks to who ever suggested that, I would not have thought just to turn the rubber seals around

Fitted a flashy light thingy to the central brake light. OK, a strobe flash module.

That can be coded with INPA/Carly. If you get the right combination of the five 'brake force display' options, the third brake light flashes even at the lightest of brake pressures and only stops once you take your foot off of the brake. It can also activate the inner brake lights (usually used as fogs) if you press the brake pedal even harder.

Yes, read about this after I bought it. I don't have Carly, so this is the next best thing for me.

It was me Boris  I smeared vaseline on mine 4 years ago now and a short time ago i upgraded my bulbs, the seals were still like brand new! so i cant see why vaseline is bad for them :idunno:

Picked up my car from RBM.

Ross fixed my power steering failure and sorted a few other items including a roof motor relocation and service.

While in the area I managed to collect a hardtop I bought on Facebook.

Quite taken by it actually.

Miss my hardtop  it makes the roadster look much more aggressive.

Changed the rear springs. 1st one an hour (couldn’t get the wheel off), 2nd 25 mins.

Front ones tomorrow. Anyone got an idea how long? I’m working on an hour per side?
