So after waiting a few weeks for bits of this system to land from eBay USA I fitted the full OEM 3.0 Si induction system.

Air filter housing and centre induction pipe where both 2nd hand off eBay in the USA and the sound generator and sound tube where direct from BMW.

About £180 all in I recon.

Refitted headlight back cover and washed - after finally Sorting (hopefully) condensation in RH headlight which appeared after fitting new headlight bulbs a few weeks ago- had some good tips from the forum thanks - process that worked for me after failing to solve it was - hairdryer from behind whilst back cover off untill all the water disappeared - leaving the back cover off, refitting the wheel arch cover and using it as normal for a couple of rain free days. Refitted back cover today after turning the rubber seal inside out .

Sad day... SORN’d her

First car I’ve ever done this to... feels like I’ve abandoned her

Finally got some time this afternoon to fix the no-screenwash issue (filters were clogged). I was tip-toeing around it last weekend but this afternoon I just the top bolt out, yanked the thing out, pulled the pumps out and cleaned, then flushed the thing through - good as new.

As soon as that problem was fixed, my pressure sensor went off and it looks like my right rear has a slow puncture  Both rear tyres are only 4 years old but have slight cracking on their shoulders as the previous owner kept the car in a heated garage which dried them out apparently. Anyway it's a good excuse to swap for some new rubber.
