What has the Z4-itis made you do?

Done nothing to my new one yet except :

Install brodit iPhone mount
Fit scuff plates under the fangs

Most of my mods will be slightly more biased towards performance/handling on this car I think - it already has aero skirts, Intravee, Gaptech, RPI scoop, Stormwerks gear knob, BMC air filter, roof side covers plus the normal factory fitted toys like nav, heated seats etc. So far my list is quite short...

Rogue Engineering RTAB limiters
Replacement engine mounts
Replacement brake pads (which I bought with the car)

...oh yeah, and cup holders :P

I'll also have an alignment done too, as at the mileage it's on it won't have had one done - no need until now really, but it's a good idea I think. Not really a mod though.

It'll all be waiting a while though, funds need to be prioritised elsewhere for now.

Did the sprint booster make much of a difference to throttle response? Just thinking it might help on spirited drives as I haven't got a sport button.

Lowering the car with decent suspension and the remap with adjusted throttle response does make a difference.
I know that the M-police does not really share that opinion but then again, they're not driving our cars on a daily basis ;)

Ok here we go

AC Schnitzer Exhaust
Hankook tires

My wife thinks I'm nuts. To pick up the aero skirts, I drove 4 hours after work then drove about 6 hours back home (I was on the road working at that time)

The latest crazy move: I spent 30 hours and 1600 miles to pick up a set of M-sport seats. They're already installed. :-) Wife can't get too mad, I mowed the lawn after getting back from the trip.

Next on my list:
EC-7 rims
Active Autoworks Tune

Maybe headers. Not sold yet on them. I want to get my car going faster but I don't want it too loud either.

I'd like some angel eyes but I'm not convinced the ones being offered are too reliable in the long run.

Lotsa nice non-M Zs here. Love this place!

Looks good Mark-Z4 like a twin of mine :)

Thanks Tom. Just without the ///M goodness, I do miss hydraulic steering, but the 3.0 is a little more fuel friendly and I feel a bit calmer about my partner driving it :)

I finally fitted the aero skirts I had sitting in my computer room for months, also swapped over from aluminium trim to carbon leather

fitting the skirts was a doddle, fitting the trim.......wasnt :headbang:

I took advantage of having taken half the car apart to finally run my mediabridge cabling through the centre console so its now completely hidden, with the USB and aux cables terminating in the cubby area behind the phone holder thingy. not a job for the faint hearted and I've rebuilt forged engines etc.. and alike before so like to think I'm a dab hand when it comes to tinkering!

next on the list is to respray and fit my z4m rear bumper and machine monkey's quad exhaust pipe conversion, which is sitting glinting at me on my living room floor :p
