What has the Z4-itis made you do?

Here's the post on the self-made air scoop...
got different remarks on it, some good, some bad, lol

Good effort, i like that,

The RPI scoop is a tad expensive at £100 for essentially a bit of metal that is bent into shape with some fixing holes drilled in it,

I like the dinan ram:

But i might go for a home made effort to first lol

I must say it scoops more than enough air, any more would do more bad than good probably
was also tempted by the dinan but it's so BIG, my radiator needs air too

lol yea that is a fair point

my z4 itis made me do this.....
plus a huge amount of things that needed modding for the car to support such power. i have just purchased the stage 550 spec unit, this adds a further 2lbs of boost, power doesnt move up much, just a jump in Tq.

what you doing with the old unit??
do you just change one part to upgrade?

its only a pulley change, new tune, bigger injectors, new fuel pumps, inline fuel pump, new fuel regulator, thats what i love about the ESS stuff, every stage just adds to the old stuff... its a really simply upgrade path. The blower can support 800hp so isnt breaking a sweat @ 550-570hp.

byron...i need to come up to the midlands and have a look at your car, i dont know anything about superchargers etc, i could talk you through the avionic systems in a seaking helicopter, and you can talk me through your car...
its an absolute pipeline dream but id love to do similar work to what youve carried out, just have no money to do it, and at 22 i doubt insurance would allow
but i would love to come up one day and let you show off your pride and joy...

Woots :-) any time my friend , anytime , I haven't used it much this year so I'd love to pass on some of the enjoyment to someone else :-) make sure you do though.

Has anyone ever done a mod after being infected by Z4-itis and regretted the mod? Lambo-doors for example

Is anyone still here who remembers my t-cut mod incident...
