What do you do for a living?

Well I'm still not quite sure what my official position is, but most of the mechanics at work just address me as "shop b*tch" :scratchhead: I do mostly anything related to the suspension/wheels of semi trucks/18 wheelers. I also ocassionaly hook up the trailers to the trucks and just do basic safety inspections of the drivers trucks/trailers before departure ie: Checking tire pressure, brakes, fluids, lights, suspension and so on.
Really just all the work that the technicians/mechanics are too busy for. I work at an import/export company/repair shop for large trucks. Hoping to eventually go to school and learn how to become a Nissan and Infiniti technician one of these days. :D

Procurement for a hotel group. I wake up, look at the sky and then I select the transport. Weather permitting, Comet drives me in comfort to the easily accessible properties. Zeddie takes me to the remote ones down leafy lanes. :driving:

Just got laid off in the latest oil field meltdown, was looking forward to some off time ...... that was until herself told me to get myself out of the house and find something to do ....... Started my own management consultancy company and found myself right back in the oilfield selling my a** again

the thought of not doing anything actually scares the bejeezus out of me .......

I currently do absolutely F*** All, and it's great!

Mortgage is gone (so is wife!) and I left my last job in November 2015. Took all my workplace pensions early.

Now I just have to remember to set the alarm for Homes Under the Hammer!!!! :D

Chartered Chemical Engineer - worked for several sectors when I was younger from Air Separation to Oil and Gas Process Design.

Currently hold the role of Offshore Installation Manager for an International Oil Company. Certainly a varied role each day brings a new challenge.

I was a Pro detailer for many years having my own studio/workshop with my own client base,

Gave it all up and moved to Cyprus for quite a few years. Came back in 2008 and set up a Detailing business again but found it to be too many long hours and no days off.

In the end I took my HGV test and now a lorry driver..I love it..

With a bit of detailing when I feel the need.

Working in the Change team as a Portfolio Office Coordinator for the insurance company.

However, I am upgrading my job to full- time mummy soon :)
