Just a Gunson EZ Bleed off amazon if memory serves. Works a treat off the tyre pressure (deflate to mazx 20psi first!). Super easy to use and very useful!

Car goes in for head gasket, vanos, camshafts and followers today...looking forward to getting it back so I can drive it properly as I haven't of late given the vanos codes I've been getting! My credit card is NOT going to like the bill however

Took the wheels off post-trackday, swapped back to road pads for the trip daaaan saaaaaarfff on Monday, softened up the suspension, cleared all the rubber debris out of the wheels, and gave the brakes a quick bleed for good measure!

Plan tomorrow is to clean the wheels and the car

I might tap you up for some help when it comes to fitting if that's ok, seems fairly straightforward, just the dipstick 'bending' which not too sure about. Was going to get the CSL dipstick but not paying over £100 in parts just for that

Those chain plier things you recommended for the airbox clips work a treat by the way, much easier than anything I've used previously when I had the aribox off for some cleaning the other week.

:lol: it's addictive! Best mod on the S54 bar none, the noise is gorgeous and the mid range after is so much better!

Shout if you need any tops I've had mine on and off several times, do the thermal insulation while your at it

Dipstick I just rotated the OEM one out the way and clipped it up behind one of the chassis braces, near enough and can still check the oil easily, let me know if you want pics

I have designed and 3d printed a snorkel specific for the Z4M running a carbon plenum to tie into the factory air intake in the grill. Drop me a pm and I can supply one you one far cheaper than cutting up the carbon e46 one.
