Interesting point actually, I wonder if anyone who has had a wrap has advised their insurer and what the response has been because as mentioned, bodywork becomes a problem potentially because the panel still has to be finished to an original standard AND then re-wrapped?
But its an interesting question that raises others. I mean do you keep the wrap on resale, giving the new owner a choice of keeping whatever colour you chose, or reverting to the original, or would you remove it all before resale? That might help dictate whether you go for an extreme, outrageous colour choice (which I'd suggest is what wraps are really for) or a more mundane one that might not offend potential buyers downstream.....
Personally I'd go outrageous, and on resale, test the water first with a view to removing the wrap if it didn't sell as is.
