What colour and what spec - looking at joining the club

I have an Imola red M Coupe but my name isn`t Nathan!

The red looks fantastic in the Summer with the sun shining on it, really bounces back at you. It`s a colour that needs to be kept very clean or it looks too dark a shade.

Mine has the champagne nappa, sat, Logic 7, etc I think the only options it doesn`t have are privacy glass, green shade band, extended leather, TV (unuseable anyway) and folding mirrors.

I love it but must admit I`ve been looking at M6s of late, seem preposterous value at the moment.

I like the Imola red that much I'm picking up a Imola Red Z4MC next monday.

I test drove the White one at Halliwell Jones in Warrington last week and it looked great but I always had a nagging feeling that in a couple of years that white might fall out of favour. It was a choice between red and white and in my eyes the red looked the best.

There was a white one on Pistonheads last time I looked a few days ago but at £28k well over priced!! :o

In Australia they make it easy for their buyers - all Z4M's come with every possible option in every car. So you just need to choose which colour you want. I wish the UK followed this suit.

The red roadster with the wood trim --sold. You see, there's always someone likes virtually every option/colour combo. :)

Be a boring old world if we'd all agreed that a Porsche Boxster S in grey with dark grey leather was the best sports car and all bought one!

definately go for the coupe, its much nice lookin than the roadster, far more exclussive, roadster owners are very common :D

white is very nice, sat nav is a good option for resale

This looks pretty good:

I would if I hadn't already...

Keep your eyes open at Baron`s BMW in Farnborough. Red Z4MC coming up for sale with 5000 engine miles, 38,000 total miles. Will be a great buy I think. Was mine!

If you have a look at how much they charge for any BMW in Aus you'll see why that is!

Your car is up on the BMW site now, search and then click "Arriving soon", or 'Coming soon'

Dunno if this link will work:

Do you mind me asking what BMW gave you for your car? I'm trying to sell my Z4MC at the minute and it's a very similar age and spec, I'm struggling to sell it though so wondered what a BMW dealer might offer me.

Cheers

Engine got changed under warranty as there was a manufacturing fault which led to an oil starvation problem to the head.

I have to say after driving a few S54 engined cars the engine in mine was in very very rude health and pulled like a train.

When I had my insp 1 done recently the mechanic mentioned that some S54 engines just seemed to be better than others and pulled really well and rarely developed faults, Strange?

Roadster Silver/Black combo on 108s the only way to go

Just noticed M specific  Still go for Silver/Black on the roadster but in coupe form i do like the White or Red but Silver would look great with carbon roof and Black CSLs
