What can you do about it

Rubbish!!

Come on, take action. Fight back and demand vengeance. It's what Mel Gibson would have done

And who really cares if it's all talk anyway. Don't you realise that talking things through can sometimes work wonders for the soul? Just don't sit back, shrug and accept these things. You will be truly lost.

Talk is indeed good for the soul - a criminal record, teeth missing or vision impacted for life, car set on fire and kids frightened to death (all experienced by folk I know) not so clever; so do indeed encourage others in the way you think fit. . . .

There are other ways of feeling good about yourself . . . .no need to sit back and feel lost.

I'm sorry to say this, but if this happened to me, I would find his car, whether at the car park or wherever, and then key the f@@ckers car on every single panel......

Just me, sorry

Unfortunately, I have to agree. Satisfaction guaranteed

x2 :x maybe not key the whole car but some damage I hate 4x4s with a passion don't get me wrong there are plenty of decent people that own them but around my way most are aggressive drivers or don't give a toss about anyone else

Sorry your son had to experience this

Ok for me the key job is ok but if it's leased they won't give a toss anyway - I think four flat tyres my cause a little more hassle ? Not that I am endorsing vandalism of course ?

Victim (noun):
A person who has come to feel helpless and passive in the face of misfortune or ill-treatment.

Any rational way to not feel like the above, surely helps.

Key word, rational. . . . in law, reasonable under the circumstances. . . . in nature, not all is fair. . . .

No need to feel helpless, use a bit of rational sense and stop encouraging others to play the big I am. You have to be prepared both to deliver and take the consequences in that case and then I would ask the question for what? This is likely someone you never want to see again and although really frustrating the incident is not life threatening.

Like I say - find another way (of feeling good about yourself) - if ever there was a definition less likely to help someone in this situation. . . . .

There seems to be some concern that the rational reaction makes you a victim - I'd say that depends on your state of mind. . . .

Perhaps the original post might be more usefully entitled for some - What do you 'wish' you could do about it. . . . .
