Got to wondering what holiday plans.if any, other members have planned this year. I will kick off with mine as i retire this year and wanted to do something special , leave on 18 may drive down to nice where we stay for 5 nights and take in monaco GP, leave there to sorrento for 5 nights, then back via geneva for 3 nights then home......downside is i wont be taking my lovely ZED,as we have just bought a new E92 coupe ,which needs some miles putting on, plus will have more space to bring back lottsa wine, which is my second love !!!!!!!! We did a similar one 3yrs ago in the zed,am really looking forward to it,.......

Going to Tuscany in three weeks with our Chinese foreign exchange student from 20 years ago, Her husband (A wonderful British fella), And her mum. Found a great deal on a restored 3 bedroom farm house. 478 quid for 5 days.

Mid April. It's off to Istanbul then Cappadocia, Turkey with some friends.
Two days after Turkey. The wife and her friend are off to Keukenhof tulip gardens in The Netherlands.

Cruising thro france with a couple of mates Z4&Z3 , Calling at the Schluph motor museum at mulhouse , on to ,switzerland,taking in sustenpass,furkapas san bernadino pass on to lake como as a base for more drives stelvio etc.thats 9 days then down to monaco take the coast rd down to salou ,spain for a week in a villa back home over pyranees.About 4000 smiles in total.

Good luck on your retirement mate - I retired 4 years ago when I was 60 - highly recommended ! Also been thinking about going to a Grand Prix - would love to go to the Monaco GP. As regards holidays for this year we're giving Portugal ( Algarve ) a try next month for a week ( never been there ) and then our real love ( Thassos / Greece ) for our usual 2 weeks in June . Also want to see a bit more of this country in our old campervan on long weekends - all the things you can do when you're retired - also going to see The Who at the O2 just before we go to Greece - never seen them live - thought we better do this now before either they or we snuff it !

probably of to turkey again, of maybe greece. nothing with Z probably except for driving along the sea when the sun is back 
Was in Jamaica for some snorkeling and sun back in January. Cultural, scenic and photography trip to Austria in May. Cruise down the American North East coast with the roadster in June. Most likely down to Aruba for another beach vacation in October.

We had a long weekend in NYC back in January.
Off to Singapore and Hong Kong at the beginning of May for 2 weeks. Got a friends wedding to attend in Singapore, then up to Hong Kong to visit some of the other halfs family. Trip has been booked since before Christmas, can't wait!
Am also working on the other half to convince her we should go back to the Caribbean at the end of November/beginning of December, pick another island to visit (We did Antigua in 2011 and St Lucia in 2012 at the same time of year... nice bit of sunshine just before Christmas!). Although we've just bought a house, so that might need to be skipped I think!
Other than that, will probably have a weekend or 2 in Holland visiting friends and making sure my tenants haven't trashed my house!!
