Ranski's first post on this thread was commenting about the price of the item. It wasn't a friendly heads-up to other forum members that this hardtop came with covers originally.
Secondly, why should you avoid those that split and sell separately? Everyone knows that a hardtop with lock covers, stand etc sell for a premium - because of how scarce the lock covers are. So if somebody decides to buy this hardtop on it's own, at whatever price, that's their prerogative. Nobody is making anyone buy it, but comments like that could make people think that it is the norm for covers to be sold with hardtops, when in reality the opposite is more likely, ergo detracting potential buyers.
Coming out with insults just made him look like he had a an axe to grind, showed lack of maturity, and was simply not constructive. There is a time, and a rather humorous thread, on this forum to be immature in - this is not it.
Finally, I refer you to the classifieds policy:

This thread has clearly disrespected dperiera's products, yet hasn't been removed - let alone promptly. So actually, if you don't like it, you don't have to accept it and log out - these guidelines are in place so members shouldn't, and thankfully rarely, have to read such churlish tripe.

I stand by what I said, by which its bad form to split items which should come as one, it just comes across as too delboy for me. Worth noting I didn't comment on the hardtop stand nor cover, so not sure why you two are waffling on about on that topic

)Just to note, I may be one of a few forum members who bought his hardtop direct from BMW UK. I still have the invoice, and the covers were not bought separately. Nor was the bag/cover, the handbook or the tool - they all came as a single package (in a mahooosive packing case). The only addition I bought was the stand.

It looks so unfinished without the covers- never fancied a hardtop but if I did I would not buy one without the covers.

Ranski, no one disagrees with your point - it does look a lot better. Thanks for taking the effort to show the before and after. But what seems to be difficult to get across to you is that there are better ways to articulate your point in a more "friendly" and "community" style. We're all Z owners here after all.
