What £100k car..?

Yep, I think I'd pretty much rule out new, as the depreciation factor would be way to risky (unless you're near the front of the list).

McLaren and 458 seem to be the most sensible buys from a depreciation point of view. I think the AMG GTS has the potential to be a £50k car in under 3 years easily.

From a 'investment' point of view 'that you can drive occasionally' would anyone consider a 993 turbo, 430 Speciali or Lambo Murielago...?

For that kind of money, I'd want something very different to the obvious expensive cars so it would be either of these:

Wiesmann GT

or

Gillet Vertigo and I'd spec them both in Phoenix Yellow. 8)

I doubt if I'd lose much on either of them.

Seeing as this is in the 'M Specific' section, the OP was clearly asking which 'M Car' you would drive for £100k :poke: Right? :fuelfire:

Amateurs :P

£100k right now would go on merc sls, one near me sounds and looks awesome, irrespective of attention whore gullwing doors :D

Because it's terrible? the i8 is outclassed in every aspect, including price, performance (considering i8 is a sportscar) by a Tesla Model S family wagon..

997 GT3 or maybe a R8 V10 (nearly new for that money, I guess).

Wildcard would be an unloved e-type chassis with good pedigree and some spare change for a rebuild. Not many left now though.

4 seats, no problem with speed limits, no traffic jams...
