Ok, so as the title says...if you were thinking of spending approx £100k on a car what would you 'really' go for? Taking into account usability, real world running costs, warranty and depreciation. You can also consider the finance aspect too, so straight cash or PCP as this will alter your options.

458s are getting close to that mark and will they ever dip below £80k in the next 10 years? In theory you could chop in your M and have a 458 for £700 a month....#justsaying

911 GT3 RS in Ultra Violet

...thought its £30k over the budget, so maybe in a few years :P

Oh, and £700 a month is a mortgage - I'd have to be pretty financially comfortable to spend that on a car...

You'd have to rule out the 991 GT3 or GT3RS as they're trading at £180k used...so unless you're on the list then forget about it!

DBS is an epic, epic car with a proper manual box, and a 'bargain' at £70k....will they ever sit below £50k...?

Lambos are the only supercar i lust after , never had any interest in Ferrari,s , Astons or Bentleys .
911s are attainable & affordable in some form ,
Maseratis are gorgeous & id like to try one out at some point but even at 47 yrs old Lamborghini really fires my imagination ,
Aventador ideally but id be happy with any model from the last 5 years They WoW it for me

With the state of our roads I dont think I would buy anything that made you cringe as you banged and crashed your way along them.

PVR has been working on you to. When I saw him yesterday he said he'd be getting me into a Porsche one day.

Nice of him to offer to buy you one – he never offered me that

Just goes to show how we are all different. To me that looks truly awful. :(

In the metal, in sunshine, it's gorgeous.

That's 'cos he's just ordered one of these for his new 'Speedy Funerals' business venture t10113.gif

And I didn't think the original could be any worse

Difficult question! Can it be used? If so, there's lots available...

For me, i'm going V12 Vantage S used if possible, else non-S. Maybe a 991 GTS. For me, it'd have to be Londonable, i can't daily a lambo, for example.

EDIT: Oh, and MP4-12C's arent far off 100k now. Was never a fan, til i watched Evo's 'living with a 12C' diary, and christ, it's prettttty cool. Totally opposite to a V12 aston tho, more of a technical marvel. Swipe to open doors!

EDIT 2: AMG GT-S has to be considered!
