just had a progress report from redish.... well..... these guys take a new level of care and attention....

he said can i have the car for xmas please i asked for a condition rating out of 10???? he said.... 17

currently awaiting them shims tomorrow morning (the rest of the service is done) The car currently sits in the air out of the way and all wrapped in some plastic sheeting.

i have a drop box where they are constantly updating with pics of the old girl
they sent me these later in the evening....shes getting the royal treatment over their.

the car has had valve clearances checked 3 times now in total including this service, ( i had an extra inspection 1 one year after lots of sprint sessions)

so far its never had a shim, but I'm expecting this time it will need a couple, this s54 has spent alot of time in the higher rev range. The cars mileage clicked 12,377 i think when it arrived.

ill post the spec sheet when i get home tomorrow afternoon.

I've also asked for an oil sample so i can send off for blackstone oil analysis to build a picture of engine condition and stresses being placed by supercharger.

thankyou, really appreciate it, so much time and effort gone into this car, it deserves to be treated to the best so it warms my insides to see it being treated like this by an outside party, i mean i love simpsons but... they would never molly cuddle the car like to this level.

the brakes are epic but really bad in the cold... some big compromises to be had with them, however for what i want them for, they are perfecto!
