Just reading about the BMW N52 engine with its fancy magnesium block making it the lightest straight 6 engine in production.
So howcome the 3.0si (N52) weighs more than the 3.0i with the older engine?
My sources are saying it's either 10 or 20kg heavier.
Parkers- 1290 vs 1310kg
Carfolio- 1365 vs 1375kg (EU)
I can only assume it comes from other components being beefed-up for the extra 30bhp?

Should do!
