Try £1,200 for a 2010 Mini Cooper with 60k miles!
Can't find another like ours for sale for less than £3.5k!

They are fecking awful cars, but surely not worth nothing.

The sad thing is that my local WBAC 'portakabin' parking area is ALWAYS full of cars that people have just given away to them! The British public are either completely lazy and stupid, have too much money, or are really struggling and need cash quick. Of course if you are the first then the third comes as a by-product.

Been involved with a few folks on their sales..

Take the selling price of the punter ..divide by 2 and that's WBAC price..

2015 35is 23k miles £21,000 WBAC £11,170
2014 25is 47k miles £17,950 WBAC £9,000
2014 35is 77k miles £12,500 WBAC £5,570
2009 35is 76k miles £11,850 WBAC £4,500
2009 30i 61k miles £10,750 WBAC £4,345
2010 35is 104k miles £10,250 WBAC £4,240
2011 35is 70k miles £15,000 WBAC £5,805

Looks like WBAC have fallen out of love with the E89...

And the Z3. I just checked the one I'm getting this week (wish I hadn't now). WBAC = £1,440. I am paying £5,995 as a private sale. And it is the cheapest decent one for sale! :o

They've been valuing my Cat N 330iSE between £745 and £895 since early July, but last week someone put a Cat D one on A/T for £3,300. :o

That's more than Hastings came up with for the pre-accident value of mine! :?

But they won't be getting it.

It does amaze me how down right stupid the British public have become and the garbage they are willing to watch on TV these days.

Can't be bothered to comment on the WBAC process but I'm intrigued to see a photo of your impending Z3 acquisition - just to encourage you here's one of mine

That' a nice photo, shame you can't enter it in the photo competition :poke: :D
Don't worry I've already entered it on the more inclusive forum that is Zroadster.org

Cazoo gave £2k more than wbac. £12.9 instead of 10.750 that wbac offered for the Jeep

I had a look at Cazoo for my chav-mobile. They were shockingly bad TBH. I think WBAC were £27k ish, Motorway were £28k ish and Cazoo were £26.5k ish. Sold it privately within a week for £29.7k. Dealers are offering the same car (not as good cos mine was as good as they come) for £31-2k.

Considering those 'ugly' FK8 civics were 34k new at full list in 2019! Fugly does have it's admirers! :poke:

Meh! :poke: Not really interested in the Z3 TBH (no offence).
Within a month the body panels will be removed and the 'project' will begin.

All I can say is it is a low mileage (54k) 3 litre M54 (super rare so I'm told) in some sort of blue. Other than that I have no idea! :o

Ahh now I get it the 250 California build - never been a fan of pretend cars but each to their own :poke:

OMGoodness, please don't do that to a Z3, it's one thing to build a fake Ford, something entirely different building a fake Ferrari with half the engine missing :poke:

Glad we are not in US buying. That Wizard bloke bought Z3 was it 6-8k dollars, same car here would be 1500 quid.

WBAC prices reflect the prices the cars sell for at auction to the trade, popular cars - small hatchbacks sell well, large cars and specialist sports cars don’t because demand is much less, it’s as simple as that. I’ve sold 3 cars to WBAC 2 Toyotas and a Kia and had a very good price, I didn’t try to sell private because they were all over £10k and few buyers have cash at that price.
I sold my previous Z4 private it was a 2.2 average condition low miles for £2500 cash, a good first Z4 that will last for years

I wouldn't worry too much the chances of pondrew owning this long enough to complete it is very very slim.
