I'd start with that first. If that fixes your leak then happy days. I bought a Wahler Thermostat for £38 and a Meyle HD water pump for £23, both on Ebay. Fitted them myself. Not difficult but you need to undo the nearside engine mount and jack up the engine a little otherwise the old water pump will foul on the front cross member during removal.![]()

Does the coolant need to be renewed after the temp sender is fitted...I.e does the coolant leak out while replacing??
