Water collection on trunk/boot lid during rain? Pic inside

Hi.

Sorry for my crappy english but is anyone else having this problem?

I dont have any leaks and my car is almost never outside during rain but everytime it rains I always get a duckpond on my trunk/boot lid.

It irritates me :) and maby the rubberthingy around the window gets damaged cause of all the water?

I get it all the time (when it's wet of course), and my car is left outside in all weathers.

Never had any leaks or damp in the boot since I bought it almost 5 years/90k miles ago.

They all do it sir will be the BMW response,I keep a small squeegee type thing in the boot to clear it but when I fetch it out the water has miraculously disappeared.

In 12 months ownership my coupe was always garaged but whenever it was washed this really bothered me & mine did have to "sleep" outside i would have to park it on a slope in order for this not to happen , ,

Buy a roadster; they don't suffer from this problem...

I'd rather have a little water collecting on my boot than in my roof motor.... ;)

Yep, erm design fault, but the rest of the coupe more than makes up for it

Need to get someone to make a carbon hatch that has a flush fitting :)

passenger side

Same here!

I have even tried to adjust the hatch/lock to make it more even in hope for the rain to flow of the car without succes, always on the passenger side.

Edit: My passenger side = your drivers side :)
