Watches

Thats a start thank you, i have a Breitling Hercules, Bell & Ross BR01-96 Big Date, Aquanautic King Cuda and Glycine Lagunare. Since then have added a Tissot T Race all black, Tw Steel Cateen in brown and a Hamilton X-Wind rose gold.

Good watches last forever. I like Rolex Daytona Stainless Steel, but too expensive. It will really go up in price each year.

The watch i've got is a Tag Heuer Kirium(only worn on weekends) nice and subtle not to in your face, but have been promised an upgrade to a Tag Heuer Monaco when the GF doe's her 30yrs in the cops, not to long now

As a bit of a Watch pervert, I was excited to see this post. I am a big Breitling fan, I own a Colt in stainless with a limited edition bracelet which is my daily wear. I also have three Tags, a Formula 1 (2007 model) a 2000 series which are becoming rare now and a Kirium which I never wear. I have a 2008 Omega De ville hour vision in 18ct which is my 'only on special occasions' watch and a Patek Phillipe calatrava which I inherited a few years ago. Love nice quality watches.

The black Planet Ocean is next on my list, but my recent purchase was a Christopher Ward C40 Speedhawk. Very happy with it, top quality movement, bargain price.

They've got a few followers on Pistonheads too - that's where I heard of them. There have been odd incidents with poor QC I've heard, but they offer a full refund if you're not happy within 60 days.

I do like the Ascari, but I promised myself no more quartz, and even then I've got too many - the C40 has rarely been off my wrist since I got it.

Seiko Monster is another cult classic, got an orange one.

I bought my 2nd Omega Speedmaster The Legend after Michael Schumacher retired 3 years ago. The watch has all his F1 records on the dial. Will my watch now depreciate after he returned to F1 this year (all his records had changed)?

Bought a brand new 18ct solid gold ultra-thin Georg Jensen watch on fleabay a few years ago for £250 - retailed for £1800. I liked it so much I bought a second identical one for even less!!!

I could never bring myself to pay four figures for a watch AND wear it! LOL

Are they genuine?

I struggle to get into 3 figures and justify it, even though I like watches!

currently on my wrist is a FOSSIL blue...

Defo - been collecting Jensen silver for 20 years (and spent a lot more than four figures!) so I know what to look for....and they are not a watch people bother faking TBH because they aren't mainstream like TAG,

Jensen make the metalwork then stick a swiss movement inside...its the name and the metal you're paying for, but I have to say they keep superb time.

TAG Chrono for me.

Very naughty that I wear it everyday, but after 13 years it's stiil unmarked, so can't complain

For me its a Mickey Mouse watch to remind me of those poor souls who are less fortunate than us and have to put up with an imitation of the best roadster around, live Zed, dream Zed DRIVE Zed ! :D
